Had a really good stay of service for restaurant of hotel, glad I've chosen it. The room was brand-new & great-sized together with a comfortable bed, reliable hot water plus fresh bedding. The location was quiet in a lovely area, close to both Kathmandu and Patan.

I booked this terrific hotel for trip, had a really great stay, its location was stunning very close to Durbar square. Location: the venue was near the colorful garden, and both Kathmandu and Patan. Stopped by Cafe de Genre to get some coffee and treats, it's a minute walk from the venue, recommend.

Our stay at Hotel Ganesh Himal exceeded our expectations! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel more than welcome. The hotel itself was perfect, with spacious rooms, a comfy bed, and great wifi. We also enjoyed the peaceful garden and the delicious breakfast every morning. Despite a couple of minor issues, overall we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Well, some things could be improved, for example wireless connections in rooms, some minor details in the bathroom, as well as electricity sockets.

We loved the tranquil garden at Ganesh Himal, a perfect escape from the bustling city. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. We especially enjoyed the beautiful artwork displayed throughout the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The staff was very nice and helpfull, The room and bathroom were clean and very cosy, The food at the restaurant and the services (laundry,wardroom) were excellent.The hotel is at 5 minutes walk from the interresting places in Katmandu. We enjoy our staying, even that we came back to this hotel at the end of our trip. We warmly recommand this place.

The free snacks and Wi-Fi in the room were a nice touch and the location was convenient for exploring the city.
The room was not very clean and there were some unpleasant smells. the staff were not very friendly or helpful, which made our stay less enjoyable.

A very nice hotel, good price, clean rooms, very very friendly staff! Even though it's basic (which most of the hotels in Nepal are), it was definitely worth the money. The location is perfect, it's in the south west corner of Thamel district, 5-7 mins away from Durbar sq.
People who want luxury - it's not the right hotel, but again, it would be hard to find a luxury hotel in Nepal in general.
